I have been surveying and excavating various sites over 20 years. I can easily say that during the field seasons, I spent most enjoyable and nice days with Desmond in the Middle Awash in the Archaelogy camp in 1994. Desmond; was unbelievably disciplined, and always ready in the car at 7 am waiting for the others under the sun in the Middle Awash. Late in the afternoon in front of his tent having a small drink for freshment and having his companion used to give the people joy and eagerness to work harder.
Desmond and Betty; this kind of beloved persons musn`t die!
